I absolutely love my Friendship Stone from my dear friend from chilldhood.  In reality, it is a small item, but it packs a large load in terms of sentiment and love. It is a sweet way to have your loved friend close to you in a symbolic way!  Martha

An Adventurous Stone

Hi,

My name is Katinka and I live in Belgium, Europe.

I gave the friendship stone to my daughter’s boyfriend, Hamish.

She met him while studying in Denmark. Before she left, we told her not to come home with a Danish guy. Not that we don’t like the Danes, but the thought of her living abroad and far away scared us.

She met a lot of Danes but it was an Australian guy that caught her eye. Help! As if Denmark wasn’t far enough.

He has been visiting Belgium twice and I gave the friendship stone to him as a Christmas present. Just to show him that he truly is our friend. And eventhough we are still scared he will move away with our girl sometime, we appreciate his friendship. He is an amazing guy.

Because he and my daughter are also adventurous spirits, I hope the stone will also lead and adventurous life.

So Hamish, if you read this, we value your friendship and pay it forward!
